PlayForward: Elm City Stories, the game we developed for Yale University’s play2PREVENT labs, was recently the subject of an article that was published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research.

The results, as summarized by the New Haven Register:

We were able to determine that the teens who played the PlayForward game as compared with the control group had significant improvements in their attitudes … and their knowledge about sexual health and these improvements persisted for up to one year,” said Fiellin, director of the Yale Center for Health and Learning Games and the play2PREVENT Lab at Yale.

We are excited to hear about these results, and look forward to hearing more about how games like PlayForward: Elm City Stories are changing people’s habits for the better.
