Pittsburgh kids from 6 – 12th grade will have a chance to build video games, explore virtual worlds and expand on their coding skills in during the Alice Bootcamp project on March 3rd in East Liberty. The event is free to attend.

Schell Games will have some team members at the event, as well as the Carnegie Mellon University Entertainment Technology Center.

Principal designer Sabrina Culyba, who will serve as one of the judges at the event, talked about the importance of this event:

If kids want to get their toes in the water of programming and game design, this challenge is a great way to do that.
